Frequently Asked Questions

A few of the questions I hear most often. See all FAQs or call 828-222-0401.

We accept major insurance providers. Plans vary, so please contact us and we will work with you to see whether yours is eligible. We are happy to talk it through during your free 15-minute consultation.

Both. You can come to the Hendersonville office in person, or meet over secure, HIPAA-compliant video from anywhere in North Carolina — including Hickory and the surrounding area.

Session rates depend on the type and length of session, and a sliding scale is available because cost should not be the reason someone does not get help. We can go over rates during your free 15-minute consultation.

It means your sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression are welcomed and respected — not treated as something to fix or overcome. An affirming therapist understands the unique stressors that LGBTQIA+ individuals face and creates a space where you can be fully yourself without needing to educate your therapist on the basics.

That is completely okay — everyone starts somewhere. The free phone consultation is a low-pressure way to ask questions and get a feel for whether this is the right fit. During your first session, we will talk about what brought you in and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.

The easiest first step is a free 15-minute phone consultation. Call 828-222-0401 or book online, and we will talk about what you are looking for and whether we are a good fit — no pressure and no commitment.
A Warm Place to Land

Pull Up a Chair by the Fire

Therapy does not have to feel clinical. Think of our time together as a quiet, unhurried space — somewhere you can warm up, breathe out, and simply be yourself.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Starting therapy takes courage. A free 15-minute phone consultation lets us talk about what you are looking for and whether we are a good fit — no pressure, no commitment.
